Issue #2 Cover! - September 17, 2014
I’m excited to get rolling on issue two. There’s some more set up I need to do in this issue, a handful of new characters to introduce, and then some serious stuff is going to go down.
Monster design demo I did from my Drawing Villains and Monsters class. We decided to combine a crustacean, with a cephalopod, with a woman. Ended up with this, which is creepy, but kind of cool at the same time.
A good chunk of the class was devoted to monster design theory; how much of what element to put into your design, and what key elements make up some of the most recognizable and classic monsters.

Forged by the blacksmiths of Vulcanor Prime the BladeMechs were incredibly adept at taking down JetKnights, though no match for a piloted Cybercorn.
Witch design from my in-class demo for the Drawing Heroes and Sidekicks. This suggestion came from the class. They just threw out random attributes; Wizard, Female, Heavy, Young, and what we ended up with was a cool yet pretty nontraditional take on a witch.
